The Tom Wood Group consists of 30 different operating companies in the United States within the Automotive, Aviation, Finance & Insurance, and Powersports & Outdoor Equipment business platforms. Our Home Office on the North side of Indianapolis is expanding the Automotive Business Development Center (BDC) and we are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team!
Our BDC Agents are responsible for fielding phone calls and other electronic communication in order to generate business for the Tom Wood Automotive Group across all states. Agents must possess the skills needed to communicate in a clear, friendly, and professional manner. Our Agents quickly build a knowledge base of our companies and brands and are often given opportunities to grow within the Tom Wood Group!

Basic Job Details:
Starting pay: $14.50/hour plus a tiered bonus structure:
Bonus structure to be based off of numbers produced monthly.
Flexible work schedule (40 hours per week)
Shift: Day-Evening shifts available, 1-2 Saturdays per month.
Main Objectives:
- Field inbound and outbound calls
- Maintain acceptable performance standards
- Uphold the values of the Tom Wood Group
- Support a strong team environment
- Maintain a positive attitude at all times
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service or hospitality setting
- Standard knowledge of literacy and IT skills
- Standard knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Skill Requirements:
- Above average verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivation
- Ability to remain calm in high pressure situations
- Ability to meet and exceed goals in a fast-paced environment
