Principal Service Solutions is looking for a Sales Manager who will be responsible for equipment sales and Account Management for two major semiconductor manufacturers in the United States. The position will be based in either Phoenix AZ, Portland, OR, or Boise ID, and requires previous experience in high-technology capital equipment sales and account management in the semiconductor industry.
Responsibilities:
- Own the sales process from start to finish, working with internal Subject Matter Experts and management to develop and close sales opportunities at assigned customers.
- Manage the relationship at all levels with assigned customers. Be the “Face to the Customer”
- Grow market share at assigned customers through a strategic sales approach and building excellent relationships.
- Prepare, review, and submit accurate, ongoing business forecasts, reviewing with senior management as necessary.
- Present customer roadmaps to internal partners, defining customer needs and developing sales strategies and solutions to meet present and future requirements. Be the “Voice of the Customer”
- Build and maintain relationships at all levels, both internally and externally
- Prepare and submit proposals to customers as required.
- Negotiate complex sales deals, with support from upper management as required.
- Partner with Field Operations to implement support plans and service products which provide the highest possible customer experience and satisfaction.
- Be the Customer Advocate at all times and tirelessly work on improving relationships at all times.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or Sales/Marketing.
- 5-10 years of direct sales experience in a capital equipment environment.
- Full understanding of strategic sales practices and theories, implantation, and execution
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to quickly build relationships with decision-makers at all levels.
- Ability to manage complex sales deals with extended sales cycles.
- Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work across multiple cultures and in an ambiguous environment.
- Technical understanding of the semiconductor manufacturing process and equipment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of the semiconductor industry is a must.
- Ability to travel extensively both domestically and internationally as required (>75% travel)
