A Brief Overview
This role is on our Clarus R+D sales team. The Clarus R+D sales team consults clients and prospects on both Research & Development Tax Credits and Administrative Services Offerings (ASO). The position is responsible for prospecting, building, and closing new business. The position owns and manages the complete sales process for all opportunities to sell the Company's solutions and services, exceed sales quotas and goals, and generate revenue.

What you will do

  • Leads consultative meetings with SMB C-level prospects and tax executives about Clarus offerings; Most leads are from inbound channels
  • Moves prospects through the sales process with appropriate follow-up to efficiently advance to a close
  • Creates strategic sales plans and objectives, targets new business from a diversified portfolio of industries and executes plans to build pipelines, relationships, and close new business
  • Becomes an expert in Clarus offerings to fully understand decision making trends and quickly qualify or disqualify leads
  • Generates reports and analyzes data to determine changes needed to increase the achievement of sales quotas and goals
  • Collaborates with all internal teams with feedback and ideas to increase conversion from leads to customers
  • Updates pipeline and tracks end-to-end process in Salesforce

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • Typically 2+ years

  • Ability to demonstrate confidence and expertise knowledge in products and services
  • Solid skills in data analytics, account management, and technology
  • Excellent attention to details and organizational skills

  • Strong and confident phone and video meeting presence
  • Ability to juggle multiple prospects with timely, responsive follow up
  • Background in consultative sales with decision makers, especially small business owners, entrepreneurs, and C-level executives
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Salesforce experience is a plus
  • HubSpot experience is a plus
  • PandaDoc experience is a plus
  • Calendly experience is a plus
  • Slack experience is a plus

The salary range for this role is $52,600 to $60,000. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.

Candidates hired into roles in the sales organization are also eligible for commissions consistent with TriNet’s commission plan.
