Objective: Deliver parts and supplies to customers and act as the main point of contact with customers.

Essential Job Duties:

• Performs work following all safety policies and procedures including all state and federal regulations (FMCSA) for operating commercial vehicles.
• Follows all Company policies and procedures for delivery and pick up of parts including route and time schedule.
• Complies with Company’s Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace Policy.
• Delivers parts to customer locations in a timely, safe, and courteous manner as a representative of B&R Auto Wrecking.
• Reviews all invoices, delivery tickets, RMA’s, and other documents to ensure accuracy completeness.
• Collects payments, picks up cores/returns and correctly completes required logs and reports.
• Manages existing customer accounts and seeks new accounts.
• Builds rapport with customers, ensures quality standards, and pro-actively solves customer concerns.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions, invoices, and delivery information.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle.
• Communicates with Supervisor when parts to be delivered have damage that is not noted on the invoice.
• Demonstrates good work habits by keeping vehicles maintained and reporting required maintenance or safety issues to a supervisor.
• Ability to consistently follow procedures with little to no supervision.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift, pallet jack, and other equipment as required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a variety of weather conditions including rain, snow, sun, and cold for a full shift.
• Able to work required days and hours which may include weekends, holidays and overtime.
• Must be at least 23 years of age, maintain a valid driver’s license, good driving record, DOT medical card and insurability.
• Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:Exposure on a regular basis to outdoor weather conditions.Periodic exposure to minimal chemical hazards.Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Standing, walking, bending, and stretching are required regularly.
• Must have full movement of arms and legs for an eight (8) hour work day.
• Must be able to safely lift objects using proper lifting techniques.
• Driving for long periods of time.

Language Skills:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
