Sales Professional - Sales Specialist - Business Development

Cullman, AL area

Summary

The Sales Professional - Sales Specialist will be tasked with being a key window contact to our Automotive Customers.

The position will conduct all basic SALES functions needed for New Business Development - Acquisition, Change Point Quotation, and Annual Price Management.

To perform the job successfully; an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

Plan and direct all activities concerned with the development, application, and maintenance of cost standards for industrial processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Communicate with Customers on Change Point Quotations.Annual price Agreements with OEM.
• New Business Development and Acquisitions.
• Develop Schedules and Detailed Plans for CUSTOMER Launch and Design Change activities.
• Ensure a safe work place for TAC employees and Customers / Vendors inside facility.
• Develops a thorough understanding of customers quotation system, organization chart, procedures, and line processes.
• Technical knowledge of automotive stamping and assembly equipment.
• Knowledge of high - volume production process and equipment.
• Previous Quotation experience (Automotive Industry) preferred
• Previous experience as window contact to Automotive OEM a plus
• Supply Chain Management knowledge
• Review blueprint drawing and / or read standards to determine part price points.
• Develops and Implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.
• Compiles and Writes training materials and conducts training sessions on sales activities.

Other Qualifications

• Travel is required in the event of a Customer or Topre America Corporation (TAC) requirement
• Japanese language skills is a big plus; but is not required

Educationand / orExperience

• Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years’ related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of both Education and Experience.

Language Skills

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Mathematical Skills

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, as well as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to apply concepts including; fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully: an individual should be Proficient in Microsoft Office, including; Word and Excel; Internet Explorer as well as Internet Spreadsheet and Word Processing software. Knowledge of AutoCAD Design is a plus.
