Job Description
Be a part of the Sales Division at Stone Hill hotels at Powell,OH.
The Director of Sales & Marketing will provide overall leadership to the Sales Team, be responsible for strategically soliciting and developing new accounts, maintaining excellent rapport with existing accounts and successfully promoting the hotel to the community. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of progressive sales experience, preferably in the hospitality field. Relative franchise experience a plus. We are seeking a detail-oriented, professional individual with excellent sales techniques who will meet or exceed budgeted goals and responsibly manage all aspects of the Sales department in accordance with the standards of Stone Hill Hotels and franchise (if applicable.)
Minimum of five years of relative experience, preferably in both sales. Relative franchise experience a plus. Solid background in sales and marketing. Excellent people management and problem resolution skills. Superior guest satisfaction skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You must be highly organized, have a strong attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a team.
Develop new accounts, maintain existing accounts, and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and maximize profits for the hotel while maintaining guest satisfaction. Create room allocation and pricing strategies for all Local Negotiated Accounts, collaborate with the General Manager and Regional Revenue Manager for counsel as needed.
Coordinate with other hotel-level departments to facilitate services agreed upon by the Sales Office and prospective clients.
Notify the hotel and director of Operations for every client you will bring to each hotel.
The primary role of the Director of Sales is to lead hotel profitability through an innovative and entrepreneurial spirit, develop and execute a strategic sales and marketing plan, motivate the sales team to exceed targets, and achieve revenue and market share goals.
