Description

Job Title: Change Management Delivery Manager

Job Code: 107777

Job Summary

Lead a team of internal and external Change Management Delivery Leads and Consultants to scope, solution, estimate, and deliver change management solutions in support of key business initiatives to maximize employee adoption and sustainability, using the NiSource Change Management framework, methodology, and tools.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead change management evaluation, planning and staffing for key initiatives.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders (sponsors, leaders, and enabling functions) and change management vendors.
  • Provide leadership to Change Management Delivery Leads and Consultants to do the following work.
  • Conduct organization change readiness and impact assessments and build strategic change readiness plans.
  • Conduct stakeholder impact assessments and build and execute strategic engagement plan in partnership with Communications, Technical Training and Leadership Development.
  • Assess quality of engagement strategy tactics by measuring adoption and sustainability.
  • Enable a continuous transfer of knowledge and a feedback loop for employees and leaders experiencing change.
  • Merge change readiness and engagement plan tactics into an enterprise view of change impact.
  • Plan for and maintain change management budget for assigned business segment.
  • Identify change saturation and “collisions” within enterprise, corporate services, or business segment and recommend mitigation actions.
  • Seek opportunities to leverage knowledge, resources and work activities across key initiatives.
  • Introduce leading edge methods for disseminating change throughout the organization.

Required Qualifications for Position

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Organization Development, or Behavioral Psychology
  • 3-5 years of experience in change management related role leading complex, transformational change, with demonstrated experience in facilitating organizational development related efforts
  • Experience navigating in matrixed environments and navigating at all levels of the organization
  • Experience with change management software and tools
  • Large scale, coordinated change tactic deployment approaches
  • Best practices for organizational transformations with proven results
  • Large scale, coordinated change tactic deployment approaches
  • Defined and structured process for implementing organizational change management (e.g. Prosci, Association of Change Management Professionals, John Kotter, etc.)
  • Defined and structured organization development process for continuous diagnostic, action planning, implementation, evaluation, with the goal of transferring knowledge and skills to organizations to improve their capacity for problem solving and managing future change

Preferred Additional Qualifications for Position

  • Change Management certification (e.g. Prosci, ACMP Certified Change Management Professional)
  • Advanced degree
