Company Overview: AGS Inc. (Advanced Geospatial Solutions) is a leading provider of geospatial technology solutions headquartered in Houston, TX. We are seeking a talented and driven Executive GIS Account Manager to join our dynamic team.
Position: Executive GIS Account Manager Location: Dallas, TX (with occasional travel to other AGS locations in Texas)
Reporting to: Vice President of Sales & Sales Management Team
Responsibilities: As an Executive GIS Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our GIS division. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling AGS field mapping hardware/software solutions.
2. New Client Acquisition: Identify and target new clients in various industries, showcasing the value of AGS GIS solutions and converting leads into sales.
3. Sales Quota Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales quotas, demonstrating a strong sales acumen and an ability to close deals effectively.
4. GIS/ESRI Training: Provide comprehensive client training on AGS GIS field mapping hardware products and software solutions, ensuring clients are equipped to maximize the value of their investment.
5. Expertise in ESRI: Utilize your expertise in ESRI software, particularly ESRI Field Maps, to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions. Experience with ESRI Field maps, and Survey123 field mapping software is strongly preferred.
6. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including the technical support and development teams, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and address client needs effectively.
Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
1. Degree in GIS or a related field.
2. Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development within the GIS industry is a big plus.
3. Strong knowledge of ESRI software, with expertise in ESRI Field Maps. Familiarity with Survey123 field mapping software is preferred.
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
5. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
6. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
7. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally within Texas.
Benefits: AGS Inc. offers a competitive compensation package for the Executive GIS Account Manager position, including:
- Base salary: $50,000 - $65,000, commensurate with experience
- Commission (uncapped) structure for sales and bonus based on performance
