Now Hiring - Inside Sales Representative in Geismar, LA

We are looking for a detail-oriented, customer-driven, Inside Sales Representative for our industrial PVF branch in Geismar, LA. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will:

• Develop strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and vendors.
• Support outside sales with a positive customer service experience through timely quotations and order processing based on customers technical product specifications.
• Provide outstanding customer service by following up on orders and expediting when necessary.
• Review daily reports ensuring that backorders are filled on a timely basis and the customer is completely satisfied.
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service.
• Support the warehouse, sales counter, will call and delivery drivers to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Create and maintain a positive customer service culture.
• Source material and create non-stock purchase orders with vendors when necessary.

• Must have the ability to effectively build rapport with both internal and external customers.
• Must have a positive attitude and the ability to function both independently and in a team setting.
• Requires strong analytical skills and mathematical aptitude.
• Must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage time effectively.
• Must have strong general computer skills, including MS Outlook and Excel.
• Must be highly proficient with MS Excel (specifically formatting, math and lookup functions).
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, assign effective priorities to tasks, and operate with a certain level of autonomy.
• Excellent written, verbal, and phone communication skills.
• Available to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime as requested (including on-call).

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of inside sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the industrial pipe, valve, and fittings market (PVF) preferred.
• Prior customer service experience required.
