What You'll Do
As an Account Manager, you will identify, co-create, and execute an action plan specific to each account with the Senior Director of Strategic Account Management, and report on target incremental sales growth with existing customers. You'll leverage a strategic account management process and cadence as determined by customer volume of business in current state, estimated potential for growth, customer market reputation that is designed to deliver a targeted, cost-effective, informative, and convincing sales process to customer segments.
Your Responsibilities
- Continuously nurture existing customer accounts and create meaningful interactions with customers, using a professional, timely and proactive, and solutions- based approach.
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers, including their operational, service, and product needs and scope.
- Increase customer volume within current product offerings and grows customer accounts by capturing sales on adjacent offerings that add value for the customer.
- Leads and develops a customer business review process that is retrospective, current state, and forward- looking, while continuously positioning Safecor Health as a value creator.
- Develops a broad understanding of company products, services, and scope of work to articulate to customers and maximizes customer portal, customer knowledgebase, and customer service team capabilities to drive growth.
- Facilitates and owns outcomes of customer and internal team engagements, including business reviews, customer cost savings analyses, and meetings. Ensures proactive and effective communications between assigned customers and internal departments to support seamless coordination of business activities.
- Develops, supports and maintains newly established customers, leading and communicating to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Analyzes available reporting data and gather relevant information to recommend additional opportunities for customer sales trends and growth.
- Recommends operational or product changes as necessary to improve profitability and sales objectives.
- Delivers reporting and insights to company leaders, including an aggregate view of assigned territory/customers/region to deliver opportunities through the Voice of the Customer (VoC) perspective.
- Captures all insights within CRM, including key customer points of contact, customer organization charts, original savings roadmap, estimated savings achieved to date, action plan for roadmap opportunities, technology profile, deal and report of deal probability documentation.
- Works cross-functionally to ensure the quality and accuracy of the customer ordering data and reports.
- Collaborates with Marketing to support and implement all campaigns for customer portfolio.
- Partners with Customer Service on escalations and resolutions as needed.
- Supports all other functions and business goals as needed to meet company objectives.
Your Background & Experience
- 4-5 years' experience in hospital pharmacy, hospital operations, healthcare sales, healthcare supply chain, healthcare operations management, or healthcare customer service strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of business acumen and diversity of business experiences.
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing or business-related program preferred.

- Ability to deliver a consistent and positive customer experience by building positive relationships and providing excellent communication through all customer channels.
- Proven ability to leverage personal and organizational credibility and positive relationships to influence people, processes, and outcomes. You can operate independently and as part of a team.
