Express Logistics is growing again and looking to expand our team of hustlers. We’re looking for a Carrier Sales Representative.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong decision making, organization and prioritization skills required
• Effectively communicate with carriers and team members on a fast-paced team
• Ability to work independently and as a part of the team
• Acts in compliance with department and company standards
• Ability to create trusting relationships with employees, sales channels and managers

Primary Responsibilities:

• Procurement, carrier sourcing, negotiate and track shipments.
• Establish and maintain carrier relationships to leverage the freight spend for the needs of our customers.
• Manage and prioritize tracking
• Sell broker services via phone (minimum of 80 outbound calls and minimum of 2 hours “talk” time per scheduled day).
• Negotiate customer and carrier rates.
• Manage a healthy relationship between client, carrier, shipper and receiver.
• The above responsibilities and additional duties may vary as assigned.
