Now hiring FULL TIME Sales Specialist in Cleveland, OH.
Daytime shift | Monday-Friday
We are a Cleveland-based manufacturer seeking a Sales Specialist to join our team.
Salaried, Exempt. Vacation, PTO, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits are available after completing 90 days of employment. 401k retirement plans available after 6 months of employment. $50-55k annual salary, based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve annual sales objectives and other agreed upon sales and marketing goals as defined by Director of Sales.
- Develop and maintain customer relations to maximize bookings and gross margins.
- Solicit inquiries, prepare quotations, and negotiate order closure to maximize return.
- Assist in development and implementation of marketing plans including telemarketing, advertising, promotion, trade shows, trade associations, and pricing strategies and tactics.
- Recognize and provide accurate application and troubleshooting assistance for customer applications.
- Conduct product training for customers and distributors.
- Develop and implement sales plans for assigned products and markets.
- Manage company assets to maximize return and investment.
- Contribute to competitive feedback, market and industry intelligence.
- Maintain effective, accurate, and timely reporting as directed by supervisor.
- Coordinate sales and marketing plans with other aspects of Cleveland Controls sales strategy.
Qualifications:
- Employee must have a college degree or sufficient sales knowledge to understand the sales process. Some exposure to international sales preferred.
- Sufficient knowledge to understand technical product function and application including algebraic calculations.
- Employee must possess superior interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, reason, and negotiate.
- Employee must be self-motivated and capable of understanding and implementing sales plans with intermittent direct supervision.
- Employee must be able to interface with associates and co-workers in a highly dependent team environment.
- Employee may be required to travel minimally and maintain concise accountability to Director of Sales. Possession of a valid driver’s license and a vehicle suitable for customer sales calls is required.
