SALES MANAGER

Summary:
The Sales Manager collaborates with communities, Participants, and internal team members to sell Contexture’s products and services.. The Sales Manager develops relationships with Participants to demonstrate Contexture’s value proposition and secure new contracts. The Sales Manager works closely with their Account Management counterpart when new sales opportunities have been identified and works to ensure upsell opportunities have the needed sales presence to increase revenue. The Sales Manager cultivates prospects to fill sales pipelines that can be managed through closure. Additionally, the Sales Manager will assist in securing timely submission of legal documentation for HIE Participants
This position is based in Phoenix Arizona or Denver Colorado. Our strategic flexibility allows for local remote work opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- This position will be responsible for signing up Participants to implement health information exchange services from Contexture. The Sales Manager works with the Director of Sales, Sales Team, and Account Management Team to both convene and facilitate discussions to advance the HIE
- Responsible for being able to explain several use cases for current Contexture products
- Responsible for meeting sales goals determined by Director of Sales
- Actively manage and report on lead development including the use of business applications to measure progress and sales status
- Create presentations and collaborate with marketing/communications to define messaging and materials
- Collaborate in a team-based environment with the Account Management team to define deliverables, statement of work and vendor integration specs in preparation for creating agreements
- Responsible for qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, trade shows, and other referral sources
- Demo HIE applications in small group and large group settings, on-line and in person
- Maintains current and accurate information in business applications
- Collect and provide customer feedback to support product enhancements and market needs
- Responsible for building effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers with current and prospective Participants
- Participate in defining approach and priorities for product enhancements and Contexture’s growth
- Support the development of new client solutions including requirements definition and business case documentation
- Resolve any issue raised promptly by troubleshooting and efficiently using internal resources
- Participate in conferences, partner events and Contexture sponsored events
- Understanding use cases for products that are being built by the Application Development Team
- Performs other related duties as assigned

- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically
- Adaptable, flexible, creative business thinking attributes are critical
- Experience and comfort working with Senior Level executives
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Education/Experience
Minimum of 3+ years of consultative sales or consulting experience with payers and life insurance groups; preferably in healthcare IT or with a clinical background with a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline preferred; MBA a plus.
