Account Manager - Job Overview:
The primary responsibility of an Account Manager is to act as the primary customer point of contact with existing customers and new customers our sales team onboards. Success in this role will be achieved through strengthening the existing customer relationship’s while working to explore additional opportunities which we are not currently handling for them. This will be achieved by working to fully understand their business model and needs with the goal of driving new opportunities and revenue growth from the existing customer base.
Responsibilities:
Account Management
Coordinate and oversee all communication with existing customers.
Entry of Purchase orders in our Transportation Management System (TMS)
Develop a deeper level understanding of our customers’ business
Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency
Maintain confidentiality of company information
Account Growth
Maintain regular contact and identify additional service needs of all existing customers
Effectively explain the company approach, our differentiation factors and how we create value
Master the ability to sell and market yourself and our company
Maintain and update accurate information in the company's CRM System
Complete weekly activity reports and update opportunities as their status changes
Team Collaboration
Work with the operations team to ensure all transportation needs are served.
Qualifications:

Account Management experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree or relevant equivalent experience
1-3-year(s) work of Logistics or equivalent experience
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced math, computing, analytic and reporting skills
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Transportation Management System (TMS) experience a plus
Travel Expectation – minimal but necessary as required by customers

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
