Motorola Solutions is dedicated to evangelizing our Private LTE/broadband solutions to enterprise and state, local and education government agencies. Through the advancement of our technology, we can now aid greatly in the support of response communication and solutions.


Job Description

The Motorola Solutions Senior Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue by selling private Cellular broadband (LTE, 5G, WiFi, CBRS, IoT etc.) solution ecosystem through strategic planning, solution development, technical business enablement and process management. You will join a fast-pace national team dedicated to generating new net opportunities with acquired customers.

Responsible:

  • Responsible for driving revenue by selling private broadband (LTE, 5G, WiFi, CBRS, IoT etc.) solutions into the Government and Enterprise vertical markets

  • Develop new sales opportunities for the team while fostering a trusting relationship with customers and delivering business value

  • Work cross-functionally across engineering, operations, and internal and external business partners to deliver highly scalable and reliable customer experience services and products

  • Research, understand and analyze the current market trends in wireless telecommunications products and services and network-enable IT products and services including market segmentation analysis

  • Partner with Solution Architect team to deliver solutions for our clients and close new business

  • Create high impact presentations designed to highlight additional value to clients

  • Manage multiple buying contacts within prospective clients and formulation highly impactful organization-wide recommendations

  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure superlative customer experience

  • Work closely with Product Management and Product Marketing to help develop product requirements and the product roadmap in line with market requirements

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience selling complex solutions to state, local and enterprise (utilities, PetroChemical, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Transportation & Logistics) customers

  • Technical expertise and selling experience across infrastructure, device, applications using LTE, 5G, WiFi, CBRS and IoT technologies is a Must

  • Relevant work experience in the areas of wireless telecommunications employed by telecommunications service providers or equipment manufacturers is highly desirable

  • Strong relationship development and management skills

  • Experience utilizing strategic account management practices

  • CRM [please apply online] experience

  • Ability to quickly learn new key characteristics of products/solutions and communicate the value of those solutions to customers

  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills with proven sales success

  • Radio Communications and basic understanding of Enterprise Software Solution (Video, PTX, IoT) sales experience a plus

Location & Travel:

Our preference is to have this individual reside in the Chicagoland area given customers’ locations. Travel demand is 50% of the time.


Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience in sales/public safety OR 8+ years of experience in sales/public safety
