Kane Insurance Agency Inc is a family owned business in Salem, IL. Three generations of the Kane family have served the insurance needs of the Salem community and surrounding area for over sixty years. We are a professional independent agency.

Kane Insurance Agency, Inc. is currently seeking to hire an additional Customer Service Representative. The successful candidate should be a career minded individual who is highly motivated, organized and have solid administrative skills. Attention to detail is key.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate client information to provide day-to-day client support
• Assist in the development of strong business relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel
• Assist with new business submissions and quoting
• Process renewals, cancellations, audits, billing, and endorsement requests
• Ensure accuracy of account information for both new and renewal policies, endorsements, and audit for accuracy
• Maintain files with proper records according to company procedures
• Apply problem solving techniques to various issues that may arise with carriers and clients
• Invoice policies, audits, endorsements, cancellations and other appropriate transactions
• Work strategically with sales staff to optimize relationships and protect client's business
• Work as a team to accomplish overall production, retention, and growth

Insurance experience preferred but not required. Three years of office experience required.

The required office hours for this position are 8 to 4:30 Monday through Thursday and 8 to 4 on Fridays. This position includes health insurance including dental and vision, retirement plan, paid legal holidays, and personal time.
