Job Description

South River Mortgage is looking for a motivated Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and customer service, and be able to build long-term relationships with prospects and clients.

Essential Functions:

• Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and lead follow-up
• Prospect new clients by networking at trade shows, networking groups, and other events
• Follow up on opportunities with prospects and clients
• Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure their needs are met
• Utilize CRM to track all activities in a timely manner
• Negotiate contracts with prospective clients and review contract terms before close
• Develop and execute strategies for maximizing sales results including cold calling, networking, attending events, and using CRM system to track prospects’ movements
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activity in CRM system
• Other duties as assigned by management

The ideal candidate will have a background in:

• Outbound sales – experience working in a sales environment is preferred but not required. This position is primarily out of our Annapolis, MD office. The ideal candidate will have experience working with phone, email, and in person.
• Customer service – this position requires excellent communication skills, including the ability to greet people warmly, answer questions, provide information on products or services, and handle customer complaints. This position is primarily out of our Annapolis, MD office. The ideal candidate will have experience working with phone, email, and in person.
• Strong communication skills – this position requires the ability to communicate clearly with internal staff as well as external customers. The ability to write concisely on a variety of topics is required. This position requires the ability to write clearly on a variety of topics is required. The ability to speak clearly when addressing a group or individual.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
