Inside Industrial Sales / Technical Support Manager

FMS, with headquarters in Switzerland, is a world leader in the supply of Force Measurement Sensors and Web Guide Systems used on web processing and wire & cable production machinery.

The USA office, located in Hoffman Estates, addresses Sales and Service for the North American market. Product inventory is maintained locally so as to provide our customers with superior availability.

Position Expectations

Interact with customers and sales representatives, obtain project information as required, specify appropriate products, prepare quotations, work with vendors to implement new onsite production capability, follow up on sales leads, troubleshoot equipment issues, and address warranty / non-warranty claims.

Must be proficient with Word and Excel... and SAP (or other ERP system) experience is helpful. Excellent math and mechanical skills, and basic understanding of electrical circuits is a plus.

We are seeking one whom is a self-starter, energetic, possess good phone skills, and is reliable.

The position includes travel to trade shows and customer locations for project review and / or system commissioning... this could total two to four weeks per year and requires that you currently have, or are able to obtain, a passport.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
