STEAK N SHAKE IS HIRING A MARKET MANAGER looking to MAKE A DIFFERENCE


We are looking to hire a Market Manager to assist the Division President with modeling and ensuring consistent execution of Quality, Hospitality and Cleanliness, as well as developing a culture of accountability.

STEAK N SHAKE MARKET MANAGER DESCRIPTION:


Assist the Division President with modeling and ensuring consistent execution of Quality, Hospitality and Cleanliness, as well as developing a culture of accountability.

Through clearly communicating brand standards and expectations.

Through coaching, training, and mentoring the Management teams to achieve their full potential.

Through building an environment consistent with the Company Mission and Vision.


Key Performance Areas:


Sales and Profit Growth

o Support the market with an unrelenting passion to grow sales and profitability.

o Support the market to achieve the expectations for the key result measures while demonstrating an ability to change.

o Partner with Division Presidents on local marketing to plan and execute DMA-level and local store marketing plans.


Developing People

o Coach General Manager to hold Management team accountable for hospitality, quality, cleanliness, facility, and safety improvement plans and results.

o Oversee and ensure the effectiveness and execution of crew training, recertification, development, and promotion process.

o Conduct interviews, hire, and train quality management candidates.

o Ensure effective MIT and Manager Training, development, and feedback execution through weekly visits with Managers in Training.

o Support and prioritize development of General Manager hires in partnership with DP, and FTM.

o Ensuring the most effective utilization of company assets and market talent.

o Coach General Manager on appropriate store associate staffing requirements.

o Ensure internal Shift Manager and Restaurant Manager development.


Brand Execution

o Responsible to Model, Coach, Mentor, Train, and Communicate service and production expectations with management teams.

o Maintaining quality standards in Hospitality, Quality, Cleanliness, Facility, and safety as measured by key metrics.

o Coach General Managers and their teams for improving all Guest measures.

o W

Coach General Managers and Management teams on creating and implementing action plans for rapid improvement with an appropriate level of follow up.

o Lead new product, process and program roll outs within the market.


Environment

o Support with a structured and disciplined approach to Daily, Weekly, Period and Quarterly success routines.

o Model celebrating successes.

o Recognize improved and/or top performance on every store visit.
