JOB DESCRIPTION:

Centralized Quoter will be responsible to collaborate with all Power Systems service departments and Product Support Sales Representatives using their input and Standard Jobs when available to develop repair and maintenance quotes for both diesel and gas generators and some engines in industrial applications. Expected to provide exceptional customer service and create repair quotes in a timely manner based on recommendations made by service technicians during preventative maintenance (PM) services. Responsible to provide accurate and detailed quotes in a professional format within the time required. Keep records of both customer and vendor interactions and transactions, monitoring quotes to ensure expeditious and accurate pricing. Maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers and vendors. Continuously improve skills in the areas of product and process knowledge. Occasional travel is required to attend sales meetings and personal training sessions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• five years of experience related to parts and service repair, sales, or operations within an Engine, Equipment, or related industry preferred.
• Strong problem-identification and objection-resolution skills are necessary. Must be able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
• Strong organizational skills are essential to manage multiple tasks. Must be able to quickly learn product information. Intermediate or advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
