Full description of the position

The Sales Coordinator/Inside Sales role strives to exceed goals and objectives, contributing to M&M’s success through Sales and Service.

This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding relationships for new potential business opportunities. It is also responsible for creating leads/opportunities through cold calling/emailing and searching for new business across all platforms.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database with updated information on past, current and potential clients.
  • Manage inbound sales leads though emails, calls and MM Relay lead generated emails.
  • Answer customer questions about pricing, availability, and product application.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity.
  • Support Customer Service Team with inbound calls/inquiries/requests as assigned.
  • Prospect and develop new customers using various sales tactics including cold calling, researching, virtual events, store visits and emails.
  • Develop and manage client relationships.
  • Find and develop new customers using various sales tactics including cold calling, researching, virtual events, store visits and emails.
  • Send UN Certs annually for ISO requirements to clients.
  • Enter leads from tradeshows, enter and track sample requests.
  • Strive to exceed goals and objectives, contributing to the organization’s success.
  • Track sales cycle process on monthly and quarterly basis and report to VP of Sales.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· 5+ years experience working alongside professional sales team required.

· New business development experience in manufacturing preferred.

· Experience with CRM software required.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel.

· Experience with complex sales and unpredictable pricing environment.

· Excellent organizational and communication skills.

· Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively.

· Possess a strong teamwork ethic.

  • Ability to maintain a positive service-oriented attitude.
