Our State Farm office has recently expanded to serve more policyholders. We are looking for a friendly, results-driven individual to join our team as a customer service representative (CSR). If you are good with people, enjoy working in a team environment, and handle multi-tasking with ease, please apply.

As a CSR you will support our agents, work directly with our customers, and build relationships as you help them with their insurance needs. You will manage the ongoing communication activities between our corporate office, agents, and customers. Applicants with an insurance license are preferred; however, we will pay the costs to obtain the property/casualty license and the associated training.

This is our entry-level, licensed position. Career advancement is offered and encouraged.

Job duties include:

• Greeting customers, answering and routing incoming calls and emails
• Helping customers with insurance questions, policy changes, and billing
• Servicing home and auto insurance
• Managing marketing correspondence
• Contacting customers regarding billing and other information
• Responding to customer requests for information
• Assisting customers with claims
• Appointment setting

Preferred Skills:

· Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft products

· Reading, writing, and speaking proficiency in the English language

· Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Accountability with one's work product

· Comfort and efficiency with multi-tasking, and conflict management

· Team player attitude and skill set

· Strong organizational and follow-through skills

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in a professional customer service environment

· Insurance background (preferred)

· Washington property/casualty insurance license (preferred)

· Clean background check such that insurance licensing and affiliation are possible

· $19/hr starting

· Hours 8:30 to 5:30 Mon-Fri
