Full description of the position

The Customer Account Coordinator provides support through effective communication, sales and purchase order management and assisting with scheduling installation and service. The position will also provide administrative support, as well as metrics development and reporting.

Essential Functions:

  • Effectively manage sales and purchase orders for account base through entire order to cash cycle
  • Submit and/or verify sales orders using internal software programs. Sales data entry, tracking and scheduling orders/jobs.
  • Receive, understand, and distribute customer information related to installs, schedules, selections, purchase orders and warranty requests from Sales and Builders.
  • Perform pre-calls for delivery and installation to confirm builder's delivery and installation schedule, and verify completion of requests
  • Notify Sales and Builder Operations of any scheduling, installation, delivery, or color changes from pre-call.
  • Develop and maintain a proficient working knowledge of SAPB1 or similar systems.
  • Develop and maintain an extensive product knowledge base.
  • Manage and/or direct communication from customer, subcontract installers, clients, and vendors.
  • Research and schedule service/warranty requests. Coordinate, if necessary, deliveries for installations and service items.
  • Return calls, emails to internal and external customers promptly and in a professional manner.
  • Provides support and guidance to customer service team members
  • Support efforts by all members and continuously improve departmental, location and company performance.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment (computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines)

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

The typical work hours are from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

No travel is expected for the position.

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Education or GED
  • Experience in administrative support role for at least 2 years.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experience supporting sales team
  • Experience in cabinet, building or construction industry.
  • Experience with SAPB1 or business management software.
