This role is focused on driving end-to-end new business sales within a defined territory. Success is achieved by maximizing sales profitability, growth, and account penetration by effectively selling the company’s solution and related services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Outbound prospection and transforming leads into productive business outcomes, whilst managing and closing existing deals, while cultivating, qualifying, and developing new opportunities.
- Establish, develop, and lead end-to-end business relationships with prospective customers articulating PDS’ business value proposition in a highly compelling manner.
- Drive discovery and qualifying interviews with senior business and IT stakeholders and align their business needs with PDS values and solutions.
- Develop and deliver highly engaging presentations to senior business audiences both in person and remotely.
- Coordinate sales effort with pre-sales, application specialist, sales and services management and technical service groups within PDS as needed.
- Manage and structure end-to-end sales steps to meet prospects needs, including RFPs/RFIs.
- Attendance at National and Regional trade shows as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong executive presentation and persuasion skills.
- Strong discovery, questioning and listening skills.
- 5 + years of outside sales experience.
- 2+ years of experience in the Talent Management, HR and/or Payroll technology sector.
- Understanding of software deal dynamics and ability to think strategically about driving software opportunities forward.
- Ability to work independently and creatively.
- Willingness to travel to customer/prospect sites, you control your travel schedule.
- Service-Oriented with a strong understanding of the customer/prospect and market dynamics.
- Networking skills – being able to expand the PDS footprint with practitioners, consultants, and other solution providers.
