Experienced professional in Outside Sales. The position is responsible for all processes including market analysis, budgeting, marketing, request handling with associated RFQ from customers for upgrade and refit of existing fire detection systems, gas detection systems.
Key Responsibilities
The position is responsible for all processes including market analysis, budgeting, marketing, and request handling with associated RFQ from customers for upgrade and refit of existing fire detection systems, gas detection systems.
Achieve growth and hit sales targets for each month.
Follow up of Purchase orders from the customer.
Delivery, and sales receipt of orders/contracts and handover of sales documentation to the Order department, project department, or service department.
The sales manager is also responsible for coordinating and reporting additional orders.
The position is directly responsible for taking the initiative to coordinate any sales activities in the market.
Implement the Autronica fire and security Marine strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
Registration of customer quotes, meetings, customer related info in Salesforce.
Authority is exercised according to the Autronica fire and security authorization level.
Ensure that the quoted system is in accordance with the Autronica fire and security Marine strategy for the area
Meet or exceed the sales budget for the area and contribution targets.
Manage the cost budget.
Monthly reporting of sales, threats/opportunities, and contribution analyses.
To manage and follow-up new and existing customers.
Writing comprehensive technical sales proposal using existing templates.
Conducting sales presentations to customers.
Experienced in both tender and cost estimation process.
Building relationships with end users/Owners/Ship Management customers
Participating in Product/system training that will be provided.
Travel as needed 50% of the time within the territory
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
3+ Years of Experience in Sales
Preferred Qualifications
BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field
Familiarity with CRM software, Salesforce , ERP system JD is advantageous
Experience in Fire Safety Industry and/or Maritime market advantageous
Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, area manager, or similar senior sales role.
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude.
Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
Strong business sense and industry expertise
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
