We are currently looking for a Senior Account Manager for our Sales and Channel Management – Community Transformations department. In this role, the Senior Account Manager will be responsible to grow the Multi-Unit Dwelling (MDU) and Single-Family Home (SFH) partnerships through contract acquisition with developers, property managers and builders. The Senior Account Manager will educate developers about Brightspeed products and services and negotiate the best options for securing an agreement for Brightspeed to bring fiber services to new or existing properties. This person must have strong business development, conflict, and funnel management skills. The Senior Account Manager needs to enjoy building long-term relationships and have a demonstrated history of exceeding sales goals.

As Senior Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Accountability for meeting and/or exceeding assigned sales objectives and monthly revenue quotas
- Developing and executing hunting strategies to target new MDU and single-family home construction in your territory
- Creating and maintaining a full sales funnel catching every opportunity in your territory
- Building great customer relationships and delivering an excellent end-to-end customer experience
- Responsible for day-to-day sales activity management, funnel activity, territory management, and customer focused sales efforts
- Participating in community and industry-related events to further develop the opportunities to procure new business
- Leading in both industry knowledge and your territory’s competitive landscape
- Negotiating offers and contracts for building entrance agreements, bulk prices, and marketing agreements
- Working closely with engineers and other cross functional teams to create the best solutions for customers and a seamless customer experience
- Tracking customer fiber builds to ensure the project will hit the first occupancy date and that the customer is informed on project milestones
- Proactively troubleshooting issues and managing quick resolutions of any obstacle
SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, Marketing, or related experience
- 3+ years of sales or account management experience
- Proven results-driven, professional sales experience
- Requires strong written and verbal communications
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to travel to meet the demands of the job
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (MVR)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
