As our Corporate Partnership Sales Manager, you are a key member of the Corporate Partnership Sales team, you will be responsible for directing the sales and development of the company's products and services. Responsible for meeting and exceeding significant revenue goals through face-to-face sales appointments with local, regional and national businesses for adding new & growing existing corporate partnerships and media-drive sales. A top sales performer who can successfully understand and leverage a diverse portfolio of entities inclusive of NBA, media, esports, events, community programs, and arts & entertainment properties for organizational and personal gains.
Day-to-day:
- Responsible for building corporate relationships capable of driving impactful sponsorship and media partnerships for TBI and with our clients, with a heavy focus on media partnerships and agency sales
- Prospect, pitch, and close new sponsorship and media deals
- Build and maintain a robust list of corporate relationships.
- Research and identify new sponsorship and media sales prospects.
- Develop and lead sales presentations with partners and internal stakeholders.
- Create advertising packages across the TBI portfolio to drive revenue and achieve client objectives, which can include the following assets: intellectual property, in-arena signage, ticketing, premium hospitality, television, radio, digital, community, experiential activations, and others.
- Collaborate with the Activation team and other internal KSE departments to execute against sponsorship and media sales deals to bring more value, to upsell and to grow our existing partners.
- Maintain positive and clear communication between the Partnership Marketing & Media Sales department and other departments within TBI (i.e., marketing, game presentation, accounting, building operations, ticket sales, premium hospitality, legal, IT, television, radio, etc.).
- Attending games and other events to entertain clients and build corporate relationships.
- Provide weekly reporting of sales metrics including pipeline generation, account updates, and relevant sponsor interactions
- Utilizing CRM based systems to organize and account for prospecting and building potential partnership deals.
We'd like to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in marketing, sales or a related field. - Minimum 4 years of experience in a related industry with emphasis in Sports Marketing, Media Sales, and Advertising preferred
- A strong track record of successful television and radio media sales understanding and experience - The ability to successfully build and articulate conceptual sales
- Experience in evolving activation and fan engagement assets into partnership packages
- A consistent and high activity output
- Current, reliable knowledge of the industry and marketplace
- Strong selling and presentation skills
- Excellence in building and maintaining relationships
- Thorough understanding of digital and social marketing
- A strong work ethic in an organization that values productivity
- A demonstrated history of success in partnership-related sales
- Experience in evolving activation and fan engagement assets into partnership packages.
- Core personal values align with the organization's values, especially surrounding DEI.
