Associated Steel is a privately held company, founded over 84 years ago, to help customers with their maintenance steel needs. We are seeking a sales and customer support individual to join our inside sales team.

General duties include support of our outside sales team, customer support, and limited outbound sales calls.

We are looking for a talented professional to respond to customer inquiries efficiently which includes determining material availability, conformance to customer requirements, pricing, and lead times. Experience in an industrial sales environment is preferred.

Understanding blueprint readings to interpret customer requests is helpful. Customer support may include some technical assistance. The right candidate will have the ability to learn our products and market to assist in identifying customer’s exact requirements and identify possible end use of materials. At least 2 to 4 years of experience in quote preparation and the ability to work within a team environment is essential. The right candidate will possess excellent sales and communication skills and have the ability to multi-task.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
