GEICO Local Office has an exciting opportunity for individuals seeking a career in insurance.

We're looking for hardworking, dedicated salespeople to work in our GEICO Bartlett, TN local office. Our office works year-round to grow and retain clients who entrust their home, auto, and other insurance needs to us.

As a sales professional, you will be rewarded for helping GEICO Local agency owners engage all prospects in the growing market.

Responsibilities

What you would do in this role:

• Providing quotes and financial options to customers
• Make licensed sales of auto insurance and other personal lines of insurance products while providing extraordinary customer service
• Educate clients on all of GEICO’s insurance offerings including auto, home, cycle, and renter's insurance
• Service existing accounts and ensure customers make informed buying decisions
• Identify cross-selling opportunities during sales and retention calls

Requirements

A successful candidate brings:

• Ability to convey GEICO’s product offering and value to potential new customers.
• Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, and willingness to expand on these abilities
• Competitive spirit and willingness to learn and work within multiple quoting systems
• Up to 75% of your day may be on the phone, a high-energy personality, and a love of working with people is a must
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong computer skills (must be able to type at least 40 wpm)
• Experience in sales is a plus
• Ability to obtain insurance licenses required to sale and service all of GEICO’s product offerings. TN Property and Casualty License preferred, but we will train the right candidate!
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
