DESCRIPTION
This Inside Sales position will support our North American Sales Teams in the commercial and residential flooring markets. The main purpose of this position is to keep sales organized and ensure there are constant "next steps" for all sales opportunities. This position supports the Forbo Sales Process and uses clerical skills to move sales forward. This role ensures information in Forbo’s CRM system is accurate and up to date and work closely with the external sales representatives to capture relevant information.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Main responsibility is to drive business forward by keeping sales organized and relevant information in Forbo’s CRM system.
- Follow Forbo’s Sales Process and hold sales accountable to the process.
- Work with the Sales Reps, Regional Managers and National Sales Managers daily. Attend monthly Project Meetings.
- Coach sales in Forbo’s CRM system.
- Process internal sales requests related to top accounts for quotations, test floors, and customized webpages.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years’ experience in inside sales.
- Workable knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote).
- Knowledge of ERP (preferably SAP) CRM system (such as SAP C4C or Salesforce) and any lead data sites a plus.
- Intermediate internet skills.
- Team oriented with a strong sense of urgency and ability to multi-task.
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with a professional and positive attitude.
- Self-motivated and confident in their abilities.
- General understanding of the construction industry is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong, professional written and verbal skills.
- Bilingual preferred – English (required); French/Spanish (optional).
Willing and able to travel (as required), both locally and abroad.
