Retail Sales Associate
Pay Range: $15.00-$18.00 hourly
Come join our team! We are seeking Retail Sales Associates for full time positions. East Coast Lumber is a family owned, local building material, hardware, and equipment store located in East Hampstead, NH. We have been helping to build communities since 1976.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Operating a Point-of-Sales (POS) system.
• Assisting customers with product location and selection.
• Stocking shelves, organizing products on the floor, cleaning and answering customer phone calls.

General Requirements:

• Experience or exposure to building materials and/or hardware a plus but not a requirement.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Previous retail experience or cashiering is a plus.
• General computer knowledge needed.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Must have excellent phone skills.
• Must possess good organizational skills, the ability to multitask and take direction.
• Ability to work independently or in a team to effectively achieve company goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy work environment.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects up to 75lbs.
• Ability to work on your feet for an 8-hour shift.
• Available to work at least one (1) weekend day per week and some evenings until 7pm.
• Must be legal to work in the United States and be over 18 years old.
