Bid Coordinator/Jr. Project Manager in Sacramento, CA

Will be responsible for receiving bid requests, setting up files, downloading and reviewing plans (with supervision initially). Maintaining bid board. Ensuring bids get to the appropriate parties prior to bid date and time. Will ensure assigned project/programs adhere to established schedules, specifications, and budgets. Acting as the liaison to the factory while communicating status, potential problems or project delays while working to develop an alternate plan. This position will provide reliable reporting, tracking, forecasting and increased customer satisfaction and retention through cross-team collaboration and communication.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Addresses questions, concerns and/or complaints throughout the project.
- Outline the tasks involved in the project and delegate accordingly.
- Ensure accurate order entry, tracking and posting for the projects in work.
- Communicate costs and shipping lead times as appropriate.
- Drafts cost estimates of new equipment necessary for project.
- Prepare reports forecasting production scenarios while making recommendations based on findings.
- Act as a liaison between company and factory.
- Notify customer of shipped material/order and provide tracking information.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Create bid folder.

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, transparent communication style.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree is preferred.
- At least two years of experience in related disciplines (Construction/Customer Service/HVAC industry preferred).
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
