Your Part
Manage group sales operations to positively impact hotel revenues through prospecting, closing & servicing group business. Solicit, negotiate and confirm new and repeat business through various efforts (sales calls, direct mail, referrals, site inspections and networking). Ensure successful on-site group events by communicating & working with all departments.
You Bring
- Focus on Corporate/Convention/Association business.
- Responsible for effectively soliciting new group business and maintaining existing accounts.
- Handle proposals, contracts, room blocks, cut-off dates, deposits & event space details.
- Calculate & quote pricing for rooms, meeting space, equipment, food & beverage costs based upon company guidelines for rates & need dates.
- Provide site tours to prospective group leaders & positively impact hotel revenues through prospecting & closing on group business.
- Work to promote the Margaritaville Brand to prospective groups.
- Handle month end reporting and tracking of group room nights and revenues.
- Develop & maintain rapport with hotel community & key contacts to ensure a visible presence.
- Handle other duties as assigned by General Manager
Requirements
- Hotel sales experience required.
- Attention to detail with ability to multi task and prioritize.
- Friendly, outgoing personality and professional appearance required.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills and positive attitude required.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
