Ampa Events is seeking a Wedding Sales Director that has had 7+ years of experience in the event industry as a Wedding Sales Coordinator/Manager, Wedding Planner/Designer, Sr. Bridal Consultant, Bridal Show Coordinator, or equivalent. If you are a professional, self-motivated person who establishes client connections with ease, we would love to hear from you! This candidate will manage the wedding sales force, run the 6 annual Wedding Experience Bridal shows in VA, NOVA, DC, and MD, and create and develop their own accounts for new business development through vendor, wedding planners, and venue relations. In addition to sales, you will have the opportunity to be a part of the Bride's and Groom's special day. Candidates with leadership roles in the wedding event planning, catering, and hospitality industries are encouraged to apply,

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, events/wedding industry preferred, or related field.

Minimum of 7 years experience in sales, preferably in the wedding industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth

Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain vendor relationships

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on market trends and vendor needs

Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs.

Salary:

TOTAL COMPENSATION PACKAGE EXCEEDING $40,000 WITH BASE PAY + COMMISSION. BONUS for exceeding sales over previous bridal shows.
