Job Title: Account Coordinator – Catalog/Internet
Department: Customer Experience
Reports to: Director, Retail/EDI Customer Experience
Location: St. Louis, Missouri
Supervises: None
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
General Overview: The Account coordinator provides administrative and logistical support to the C/I sales team. Duties include order processing/entry, record keeping, response to customer inquiries, as well as shipping and tracking of orders to each account. Will help generate reports on sales targets, activity, and other related metrics. Coordinate customer meetings and events. Provide support for annual line reviews. Prepare presentation materials and exhibits. Train and support the sales team on systems, processes, and procedures. Monitor account POS. Develop and build strong relationships with buying/replenishment teams within account.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Order Analysis: Performs analysis related to orders; future availability, shipment tracking, fill rates, and ship vs. forecast.
- Logistic Coordination: Coordinates the areas of item set-up; UPC confirmation; Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) and shipping requirements, and purchase order tracking.
- Coordinates logistical information with internal personnel in sales management, marketing, inventory planning and customer service.
- Chargebacks & Credits: Works with compliance team to resolve any chargebacks and credit situations.
- Account item Set-up: Sets up items in customers system. Coordinate all set up assets – UPC, dimensions, images, etc.
- EDI Processing: Reviews incoming and existing orders daily for EDI transmission issues, inventory availability, request dates and distribution coordination (picking tickets, “ship to” set-up, etc.).
- EDI Set-up: Works with accounts to cross reference account information with internal information on items, ship-to locations, pricing, and request dates.
- Order Processing: Answers incoming calls from account regarding product, orders, pricing, returns, etc.
- Account Performance: Regularly reports out on customer’s metrics such as on time delivery, in stock and fill rates.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Degree in Business, or a related field preferred; or comparable work experience
- 2-3 years’ experience working with Replenishment, Fulfillment, POS and Supply Chain preferred
- Retail Math with Sell Thru, inventory management, gross margin, and SKU Productivity preferred
- Excellent communications skills and ability to work with a diverse population
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage client relationships
- Presentation development skills
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail - High level of professionalism and positive people-interface skills
- Excellent math skills
- Ability to travel as required by account needs
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
