Full description of the position

Hours: September 11, 2023 – December 29, 2023 – Approx. 30 hours per week
January 2, 2024 – March 29, 2024 – Approx. 40 or more hours per week

Camelback Ranch-Glendale, Spring Training home of the Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers, is hiring one (1) seasonal Assistant Ticket Sales & Operations Manager to support our business operations heading into the 2024 Spring Training season.

The Assistant Ticket Sales & Operations Manager will focus on two verticals – Box Office Operations and Ticket Sales. Operationally, this team member is instrumental in overseeing the box office operation, including assisting with ticket fulfillment, reporting, and overseeing the Home Plate Box Office. This role’s sales support is responsible for assisting with renewal outreach and customer communication through the 2024 season and overseeing inbound sales and service requests.

In addition to office time, this position must be available to work all Spring Training games.

This position is paid an hourly rate of $17.00 and is eligible for a potential postseason bonus based on goal attainment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Training:
With a heightened focus on Box Office Operations and Ticket Sales, you’ll learn the ins-and-outs of a sport organization’s business operations including how to:
  • In a sales environment, effectively communicate via e-mails and voicemails.
  • Operate our ticket system, ProVenue and our CRM, SCORE CRM.
  • Lead and train a box office team.
  • Understand the Camelback Ranch-Glendale facility and the fan experience to provide a consultative approach to sales and operations.
  • Grow your career, by hearing from various industry leaders and executives, from within and outside the organization, that can provide guidance and support as you continue your career post-Camelback Ranch-Glendale.
Ticket Operations:
  • Oversee our Home Plate Box Office, which includes:
    • Up to 4 Box Office Representatives.
    • Assist this team’s scheduling, training, and questions at the ticket windows.
  • Along with Director, act as operations lead to support sales Account Executives.
Ticket Sales:
  • Assist in sales renewal outreach (season tickets, mini plans, suites, and group tickets).
  • Act as point of contact for season ticket holder questions and support from renewals through the end of the season.
  • Build relationships with current customers to ensure retention.
  • Goal-driven, competitive, and supportive to help our team exceed ticket sales goals.
  • Support B2B lead generation for group categories.
