Strickland Paper Companies is seeking a highly motivated individual, living in the metro Hunstville area, to join our paper sales team.

This is a perfect opportunity to build a sales career with a stable company, that values its employees and customers. The ideal candidate will manage and grow business relationships with existing customers in our business products division, with opportunity to also sell our rapidly growing paper business as well as our packaging, janitorial, and paper supplies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Sell and promote products to meet or exceed personal and Strickland Companies goals within an established territory.
• Identify opportunities and present solutions offered by Strickland Companies that meet the customer’s needs
• Develop and provide custom presentations and business solutions for existing and protentional new customers
• Act as first point of contact for customer inquiries and complaints and proactively strive for resolutions in a timely manner.
• Align with various sales representatives to expand segment and product knowledge base and collaborate on promoting solutions to customers.
• Actively leverage sales technology and tools to meet strategic account planning objectives and maximize customer and segment growth potential.
• Travel required
• May be requested to perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Experience and knowledge in paper is strongly preferred

· Proven ability to easily connect with customers, clearly identifying their needs

· Outside sales experience

· Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to a changing market

· Excellent verbal, written, and people skills required, with a strong commitment to customer service

· Ability to function independently

· Computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

· Must have a valid driver’s license

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Pay: $50,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
