Real Estate Closing Agent
Overview:
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented and self-motivated individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, have strong computer skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service to all agents, clients and lenders
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of closing on properties by completing all necessary documents, communicating with clients, agents, lenders, and other parties involved in the real estate transaction
- Coordinate with other team members to complete closings on a timely basis
- Assist in the preparation of closing documents
- Other duties as assigned by managing Attorney
Skills & Qualifications:
- We are seeking an experienced closing agent in the Auburn, AL area to manage and oversee a new office in the area. New hire will be responsible for pre-closing matters, closing transactions, and post-closing matters in regards to residential real estate closings. Must have experience handling real estate closings from start to finish. Assistance available from a well-established, multi-attorney law firm. Bonuses available for generating new business.
- This will be a remote AND in-office position
- Part-time with the possibility of transitioning to full-time
- High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred but not required.
- 5+ years’ experience as a closing agent; Mortgage industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work effectively with others; Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; Ability to work well under pressure; Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively; Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel; Experience using Qualia preferred but not required; Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with clients, agents, lenders and other parties involved in real estate transactions; Ability to work independently without supervision.
