Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Janitorial Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales force, your primary responsibility will be to generate new business opportunities and drive sales within the janitorial services industry. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, delivering compelling presentations, negotiating contracts, and achieving sales targets. To excel in this position, you must possess exceptional communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and a proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and prospect potential clients within the janitorial services industry through strategic cold calling, networking, and leveraging referrals.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape to strategically position our services.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities through effective lead-generation techniques and relationship-building strategies.
- Present and demonstrate our janitorial services to prospective clients, highlighting the unique benefits and value proposition we offer.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotes that effectively communicate the value of our services and address client needs.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to develop customized solutions that meet and exceed client requirements.
- Skillfully negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Consistently follow up with clients to secure new business, overcome objections, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals by consistently delivering exceptional results and demonstrating a passion for excellence.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts using our CRM software.
- Actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand our network, stay updated on industry trends, and promote our services effectively.
Qualifications:
- A proven track record of successful sales experience, preferably within the janitorial services or related industries, demonstrating consistent achievement of sales targets.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to connect with clients and build strong relationships.
- Outstanding presentation and negotiation skills, enabling you to effectively articulate our value proposition and influence key decision-makers.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, exhibiting a high level of accountability, integrity, and professionalism.
- Strong knowledge of janitorial services, cleaning equipment, and cleaning products is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools for lead generation, pipeline management, and data analysis.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the janitorial services industry.
- Proficiency in using computer software, such as the Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems.
