Job Description:
Director, Carrier Sales

Cable One is adding a Director of Carrier Sales to our sales leadership team! This important and impactful role will provide leadership and oversight for the Field Sales group, overseeing team efforts to generate sales and maintain revenue for large carrier and wholesale customers for the entire Cable One portfolio of companies. This role is also responsible for circuit acquisitions form other carriers.
What you will do to contribute to the company's success
  • Oversees Field Sales teams, leaders and processes.
  • Sets strategy, goals and metrics for assigned areas.
  • Identifies and initiates new strategic opportunities and partnerships with potentially significant business impact.
  • Leverages trusted relationships with customer, partner and other executives to develop and position strategically important new business, expansion and other opportunities.
  • Coordinates cross-functional alignment and execution across Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Finance, Legal and other critical stakeholders.
  • Contributes to new growth opportunities and strategic initiatives for the company, including new business concepts, markets, offerings and business models.
  • Manages or ensure effective management of complex deal structures, contracts and terms of agreement.
  • Ensures team-wide understanding and focus on achieving sales and revenue targets / quotas.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years’ experience in sales leadership or related field
  • BS / BA Degree (Master’s Degree preferred)
  • Ability to apply effective analytical techniques and tools, analyzing organizational issues, determining the root cause and creating alternative solutions that are in the best interest of the business.
