You.

Enjoy designing swimming pools for private residences throughout the beautiful outdoors of the Lowcountry. This position is full-time and year round. As a Swimming Pool Design and Sales Consultant, you will be designing high-end swimming pools for leads provided by us and leads you generate on your own. You will receive extensive in-house training and coaching to become the very best pool designer and consultant you can be. Communication with our clients and your peers at Aqua Blue Pools is essential to your success. Compensation starts at $50k+ with higher earning potential if desired.

What you'll be doing:

You will communicate with prospective clientele and schedule appointments with those who meet the minimum, eligible requirements.

You will design the outdoor pool space utilizing AutoCad software and/or Google Sketch-up. If you do not have experience with these programs we will train the right candidate.

You will sell your designs and our construction team will build them.

You will assist clients and make recommendations for all material and accessory selections to be used on their pool project and ensure expectations have been met.

You will work with HOA's to obtain necessary project approvals.

Your abilities need to include:

Attention to detail

Creative and artistic - Visualize and conceptualize backyard living spaces

Design creative and accurate pool renderings based on clients' vision and space allowances (i.e. drainage, exposure, easements, setbacks, etc.)

Design swimming pool/water feature options via design software

General knowledge and understanding of the mechanics of construction

You have a general understanding and ability to review design and construction documents.

Gather needed information for each project to include property surveys, engineering documentation, etc.

Coordinate with your supervisor and the construction manager on projects you've sold

Juggle multiple projects in various stages of the pre-construction process while handling new leads is required

Work process orientation and thoroughness is key

Strong time management and organization skills required

Desire to grow and learn

Other Requirements

Travel required to surrounding communities within the Charleston, SC metro area

Four year college degree preferred

Proven success record of selling high value/quality design-build products/services to the consumer market valued at $50k or more is preferred

Microsoft Office product experience with: Excel, Outlook and Word

Aqua Blue Pools' design, sales and work-flow processes are well defined. You will be expected to follow our protocol. We utilize a proven model where you follow a strict process and methodology with passion and enthusiasm. We are looking for “A” players who have a desire to earn six figures annually in commission. This position allows for unlimited earning potential for sales and design professionals.
