Overview:
In alignment with our vision of becoming the best employer and achieving our mission, the Sr Director of International Sales is a leader who is responsible for developing and executing the organization's international sales strategy, ensuring that established revenue and profit goals are met. This leader works closely with multiple functions and teams to ensure the organization produces exceptional products consistent with our overall sales strategy, brand guidelines, and customer expectations.

Leadership/Supervisory Role:
- Lead the development and execution of GOP sales strategy to reach the desired growth and performance.
- Oversee the Brand planning process in our international markets, including production items, target customers, and go-to-market strategies.
- Help lead and develop a Brand story in our internal markets.
- Lead all international customer communications and serve as their primary point of contact.
- Develop KPIs for direct reports and lead them to achieve the desired results.
- Direct and manage the export sales team.
- Directly manage certain key export accounts.
Strategy:
- Analyzes international market trends, competitor activities, and consumer habits to determine the appropriate competitive positioning.
- Be continuously engaged with the Domestic Sales team to align with overall Sales strategies and goals.
- Develops long-term plans for products, product lines, or brands in our international market and track performance against organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain B2B sales channels for new and existing international customers.
Analytics:
- Lead Brand assessment via carcass utilization and sales growth analysis, comparing Branded margins with commodity margins.
- Establish benchmarks for our international sales strategy.
- Regularly assess and communicate updates on the pre-set KPIs and those benchmarks to the business and stakeholders.
Collaboration:
- Managing existing relationships with our international customers while developing new relationships.
- Interact with international trade groups and organizations and participate in international events and Trade shows when necessary.
- Work with corporate Communications toward consistent Brand messaging in our internal markets
- Work with operations to maintain proper production of products unique to the export market.
Knowledge/Industry Awareness:
- Extensive knowledge of the beef industry and the international markets

Qualification Requirements:

- At least 7 years of experience in Beef, with 5 years specifically focused on international Sales.
- Problem-solving, analytical, critical thinking, time management, prioritization, and collaboration skills
- Action-oriented and driven for Results.
- Leadership ability
- Project management skills
- A team player with a positive can-do attitude and agility to flex multiple work streams fluidly.
- Ability to create detailed spreadsheets, charts, and presentations.
- Good research abilities
- Manage priorities and dynamic deadlines.
- Flexible and positive in a fast-paced Plant and business environment
- Ability to communicate and connect effectively with diverse clients from different backgrounds and countries.
- Efficient time management and communication
Education requirement:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree (Business Administration, Marketing, Agi Business, Animal Science preferred). Masters preferred.
Highly Desirable Skills:
- Bilingual preferred
- Prior Sales experience in our existing countries of operations
Location of the role: Omaha, NE office
Travel is expected
