The Experienced Sales Consultant is extremely knowledgeable about our vehicles and services, knows our industry, and our market, including vehicle selection, performance, accessories, efficiencies, safety features and functions, and financing options for both new and used vehicle inventories. He or she presents new and pre-owned vehicles to customers in an attractive and highly informative fashion that promotes a prompt sale and maintains an ongoing relationship with customers to encourage networking and repeat business.
The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED, previous experience selling automotive brands such as BMW, Cadillac, Lexus, Lincoln or Mercedes, excellent customer service skills, a confident and outgoing personality, a professional appearance, great communication skills, the ability to deliver world class customer service, and a willingness to continuously prospect to sell a minimum quota on an ongoing basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Helps customer with vehicle selection and promotes model options and features, value-add products and services, and purchase and finance options following dealership policies
- Conducts vehicle test drives and ensures all speed limits and all other rules of the road are followed
- Negotiates sale closure in a clear, concise, and highly ethical fashion
- Helps facilitate delivery by providing a clear explanation of vehicle and features operation, warranty, and servicing requirements
- Maintains accurate sales documentation
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, financing options, and promotions
- Addresses customer concerns and issues or escalates them as needed
- Encourages repeat business by acknowledging the customer's purchase with gratitude
- Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
- Guides customers in filling out all appropriate paperwork
- Handles customer complaints immediately and according to the dealership's guidelines or escalates complaints when necessary
- Maintains high customer satisfaction standards
- Attends and monitors the product and sales training courses as required by dealership and/or manufacturer
- Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience selling high-line brands within the automotive industry
- Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday
- Strong desire to “assist the customer”
- Outgoing with a friendly personality, especially while handling objections
- Quality customer service skills
- Good sales and/or customer service track record
- Possess strong communication skills
- Persistent, competitive and have a good work ethic
- Focus on the customer’s needs to enhance dealership and personal sales
- Computer literate and have basic math skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
