SPIRE Event & Sponsorship Sales Associate
About us:
SPIRE Academy is a quickly growing elite international boarding Academy, Performance, Camp and multi-sport Event Center. Constructed atop an 800-acre assemblage, the campus hosts over 820,000sf of interior climate-controlled space and is a one-of-a-kind, world-class facility. It is the largest and most comprehensive indoor sports facility in North America.
SPIRE has seen significant growth in the 3+ years of ownership under the Ehrenfeld Companies. We have established and consistently grown the Academy business, expanded the Performance Camps platform, added a significant number of major Events, and built partnerships with global brands like The Cleveland Clinic, Marriott, Starbucks and UnderArmour. Our national event partners include USATF, USA Wrestling, Big 10, Atlantic 10, NCAA and others bringing over 1MM visitors to campus annually.
Overview:
The ideal candidate will have experience procuring new events, developing, and selling sponsorships or related experience in media and marketing sales, in addition to the responsibilities and requirements listed below.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Researching new event and partnership leads and event concepts through research, outreach, cold calling and/or existing relationships.
- Gaining access to key decision makers and connecting to SPIRE on=site events and business development team.
- Cultivating meaningful and beneficial relationships and building a network of event, sponsor, and vendor partners.
- Coordination site tours for prospective event hosts and sponsors.
- Assisting in the creation of custom event sales and sponsorship materials.
- Maintaining timely and accurate records in HubSpot (sponsorships) and Tripleseat (events).
- Juggling deadlines and prioritizing time to optimize efforts to achieve SPIRE’s financial and brand objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in directly related work experience.
- Minimum of four years’ relevant experience in event procurement, partnerships, media/marketing, or sponsorship sales.
- Proven track record of cultivating client relationships for successful sales.
- Evidence of self-motivation, combined with team-orientation.
- Strong listening, learning and creative skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent work ethic.
- Ability to exceed established goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Potential travel.
Compensation:
- $47,000 - $52,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
