Job Description

The base requirements of the Sales Engineer candidates are the following in order of priority.

1. 1-3 years’ job experience with an automotive parts supplier, working in sales engineering, program management, or a similar capacity.
2. Engineering degree or Engineering Technology degree preferred, but not required.
3. Technical background – ability to review and understand engineering drawings, technical issues, product design criteria, and test specifications.
4. Ability to communicate effectively with both internal team members (including Japanese sales/engineering staff) and customer engineering and purchasing staff.
5. Ability to write clear e-mails summarizing technical or commercial issues.
6. Ability to lead project open issues meetings with both external customers and internal staff members to resolve issues for new and current design & development activities.

Pay: $84,000.00 - $93,000.00 per year
