Full description of the position

We are currently looking for an Outside Sales Representative who will be responsible for finding sales opportunities and increasing sales with local contractors. Outside Sales will work to grow the business by contacting customers, seeking new customers, making calls, and visiting job sites. This position is expected to have excellent communication skills and follow through on commitments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create material estimates
• Read blueprints
• Travel to job sites
• Create new customer relationships
• Maintain strong relationship and service for existing customers
• Work with sales and management to create and maintain best practices
• Follow up with customers to ensure projects are taken care of timely and efficiently
• Continue to expand/develop product knowledge
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to read blue prints and prepare a material take-off list

• Must have working building industry & sales experience
• Must have a reliable vehicle and valid drivers license
• Must be able to work every other Saturday morning in the store from 7am-12pm
• Must reside within 45 minutes of Gilbertsville, PA
• Able to pass a non-DOT physical
