Job Description:
The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for nurturing inbound sales opportunities as well as analyzing the current customer database to grow and expand service operations with existing customers while building brand loyalty. The Business Development Coordinator will also perform market and industry research to assist the company in sales strategies by geographic location. The BDC will report to the EVP, Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture new sales opportunities / leads within a timely manner and gather all information required to provide to Sales Management
- Supports pipeline development and CRM accuracy; updates CRM with pursuit notes and activities
- Provide forecasting and data simplification for the sales team
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales activities as defined by management
- Promote brand and services through effective communication with potential and existing clients
- Develop presentations (QBRs, etc.) for key accounts
- Develop customer relationships to promote retention and loyalty
- Support sales team with lead development, research of key targets, contact information, etc.
- Partner with Business Development team to identify and close new, upsell, and expansion opportunities with existing customers
- Work with customers to ensure satisfaction; support pre-sales cycles
- Document communications and transactions in CRM to ensure accurate forecasting and analysis.
- Partner with Marketing to promote best practices, new services, upgrades, etc. with customers/prospects
- Interact with Estimating and Project Management Teams to ensure knowledgeable conversations with customers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
- Minimum two years of sales or administration experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Dynamics CRM and Power BI
- Data Analytics background
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
