MG2 is seeking a talented Regional Business Development Manager to join our New York office in our Marketing Team!

Role Introduction

As our Regional Business Development Manager, you will lead and manage the business development efforts in the Region. You will work with the Director of Marketing, Market Leaders and Principals leading the daily execution of the business development strategy, plans, and processes to increase revenue, expand markets, and accomplish financial objectives. You will have the opportunity to build new client relationships by collaborating with a marketing and business development team to help grow and manage the reputation of the firm. To thrive in this role, you must be a team player who can work with multiple personalities and manage various responsibilities with a combination of self-direction, collaboration, and grace under pressure.

What your day will look like:

  • Works with the Director of Marketing and BD Principals to establish targets and metrics to measure the achievement of objectives.

  • Continuously discovers and explores business opportunities.

  • Evaluates options and resolves internal priorities.

  • Works with the Marketing and Communications team to promote brand recognition.

  • Develops and uses contacts and relationships within the industry, business environment, and client base to understand and respond to competition, points of differentiation, and strategies for winning work.

  • Active and engaged at the regional and national level of industry events and conferences.

  • Develops an active network of regional and national industry leaders.

  • Coaches teams in best practices and effective tactics for prospecting new markets, partners, channels, and customers.

  • Makes suggestions for improvements to business development and marketing efforts.

  • May administer or negotiate new business proposals and work with Principals to prepare contracts.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of business development or marketing experience, preferably in the AEC industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • Experience leading business development efforts, including coaching seller-doers.
  • Experience in building and maintaining industry connections, driving new business opportunities.
  • Strong presentation skills and market knowledge
  • Brings contacts within the retail and/or mixed-use and multifamily real estate development industries.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong initiative and critical thinking
  • Solid project management and organizational capabilities
  • Ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of A/E/C marketing best practices and how to market professional services.
  • Exhibits MG2 Practice Values of Integrated Approach, Design Excellence, Social Responsibility, Leadership, and Results.
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite and Smartsheet
  • Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint and Open Asset a plus

National Salary Range
: $101,500 - $144,800

If position is eligible for remote status, ranges may be adjusted. Acknowledging the time employees typically spend in the role, compensation is dependent on applicable years of experience and skillset.
