JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. Director position requires substantial experience in Medicare Advantage sales and sales management, emphasizing growing, building, and developing sales teams. Outside sales, Inside and call center sales, and broker/FMO sales experience are necessary.

Scope:
The Senior Director of KelseyCare Sales plans, manages, and executes the organization’s sales strategy through leadership, accountability, sales enablement, demand generation, and competitive positioning. The role is accountable for business growth, planning market share, and membership growth. The successful incumbent will coordinate all sales activities and set team goals. Ensures optimum sales coverage through direct and broker sales resources, develops sales resources and management talent to ensure sufficient pipeline to support future growth. Demonstrates thought leadership and creates a performance-driven culture through training, coaching, day-to-day management, and direction of the sales force. The Senior Director is responsible for reporting and forecasting sales targets and developing plans to grow revenue in critical areas, identifying new opportunities, market segments, and product/service initiatives for the health plan. Maintains regular customer contact and communication with the sales force. The Senior Director must develop strong relationships with customers, brokers, agents, employers, and any necessary constituencies to continue increasing the health plan's growth potential.
Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum 10 years of health insurance sales experience
Minimum 8 years of management experience in Medicare Advantage sales
Houston Health insurance market experience
Licenses:
Group One Insurance License - Required
Duties:
Sales Management: lead, manage, and optimize ongoing sales enablement and operations, including best practices, guidelines, tools, training, and reporting. Accountable for hiring, coaching, motivating, mentoring, and developing the sales team to deliver (meet or exceed) the sales goals set by the business plan. Training and development of the sales force should differentiate us from our competitors. Also possesses strong sales skills and the ability to move a prospect through the sales process and close business. Maintains an in-depth understanding of the laws and regulations regarding selling and marketing health benefits programs to Medicare beneficiaries. As part of the oversight of the sales team, the Director will oversee the strict adherence to these laws and regulations among all staff.
Strategy Development: Actively participate in the internal strategy development process, influence leadership decisions, and ensure that strategies align with the potential and capability of the sales force. The Director is also responsible for strategic sales initiatives, compensation, quota setting, year-end planning, regular account reviews, and reporting to Management.
Relationship building and networking: Develop and maintain strong employer and broker relationships and identify critical brokers for development. Community involvement through professional organizations, understanding sales channels, and maximizing relationships' effectiveness to increase growth. Ability to build and maintain strong plan and producer relationships. Manages strong partnerships with key stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
Implements goals, operating principles, and strategies: Maintains an in-depth understanding of customer needs, competitor strengths, weaknesses, medical management and operations, and significant industry trends. Tracks demand metrics and help set strategy and product improvement/development.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $161,240.00 - $208,000.00 per year
