Full description of the position

We are seeking an Outside Sales to join our team! You will increase company sales by serving customers and prospects on regular sales routes.

Regular Sales Routes

• Plan time on a Route to allow for prospecting for new customers.
• Adjust routes as appropriate to maximize face-time with customers.
• Find new markets for our products.
• Deliver items that have been pre-ordered. Sell from the truck as needed.

Keep up-to-date with our Product Lines

• Read and understand the Product Information for our line of products.
• Keep an appropriate supply of Sales literature on hand.
• Suggest new Product Lines or new services.

Customer Rapport

• Be friendly and confident, but not pushy.
• Know how and when to ask for the order.
• Learn to anticipate the customer’s needs and wants.
• Retain customers with excellent service and understand their concerns and pain points.
• Learn what is important to the customer in their suppliers.

Sales Efforts

• Be able to adjust the sales presentations to fit each customer.
• Reach out to potential customers through cold calling.
• Monitor our competitors – pricing, product offerings, new products, delivery schedules, etc.
• Keep management up-to-date with daily call sheets, weekly work plans, and quarterly target plans.

Compensation includes a base salary plus commissions.

Haverstick Bros. is a family owned business selling and servicing hydraulic components primarily in the mobile equipment industry.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
